Mana Yoga Tarot Reading with Bryce Little

New to The Yoga Barn is an exciting opportunity for those seeking answers to personal issues or questions with Mana Yoga Tarot readings. Mana is a Maori word literally meaning 'that which is magic' and 'the substance of the soul'.

Bryce uses a Vedic deck from India, believed to be the true home of tarot, and a very special set of twelve cards from New Zealand named Matakiti o Maui. These cards illustrate through mythology what we are currently experiencing and how we can embrace and if necessary work on our lives.

Born into a deeply spiritual family in New Zealand, Bryce was raised in a Maori community in a small rural settlement steeped in traditional culture. As "tangata whenua" (people of the land) Bryce was taught to respect the earth and the subtle energies which shape and affect the lives of all beings, a spiritual concept known as Maoritanga.

Consulting the spiritual world (wairua) was an integral part of daily life. The collecting of food, the building of new homes, and events such as marriage and funerals were all conducted with special Karakias or prayers to ensure a balance between the spiritual and physical was maintained without harm to mother earth.
Understanding that nature and spirituality form the basis of a holistically complete life, Bryce uses a variety of tools to connect with the subtle energies  and identify areas in which intuitively prescribed techniques can then assist to balance and rectify issues.

Bryce has chosen to use tarot as a medium as it is effective for most people to quickly open their mind and heart chakras, subdue external influence and communicate any distress or needs in your life and identifying positive aspects which should be explored as a viable pathway in your personal journey.
Bryce uses Western and Vedic tarot cards but specializes in using Matakiti o Maui, an ancient set of 12 cards relating to the maori god Maui. These twelve ancient cards illuminate the clients consciousness and future pathways.

During a reading, Bryce will discuss the meaning of cards chosen and how they are relevant to you, and prescribe methods to heal and promote your well being. This includes colour therapy, meditation techniques, the use of crystals and yoga postures together with affirmation and mantras that will allow your consciousness to remain raised and effective on a physical level.

The name Mana Yoga is derived from the maori, and greater polynesian word, Mana. Mana as a generalized concept is often understood as a forerunner to formal religion. However it is more accurately interpreted as "the stuff of which magic is formed," as well as the substance of which souls are made. Maori people believe in order to be complete as individuals and communities, you must be connected to your mana. Hence the Yoga, which literally meaning to connect, of Mana is to communicate with the magic of your soul that resides within, and consequently self fulfillment.

Readings are from £25 for half an hour or £40 for a complete hour.
