Special event: 11-11-11 Evening of Bhakti Yoga Kirtan

Something ancient and mystical is spreading through the yoga studios of America and the UK in a new and exciting way. Bhakti yoga, the timeless art of raising the consciousness with uplifting mantras, represents the spiritual branch of the yoga tradition, where practitioners develop a contemplative practice to open the heart.

At the core of the Bhakti Yoga tradition is the art of kirtan - call and response chanting - of Sanskrit mantras accompanied by hand cymbals, clay drum and harmonium.

Join us on Friday the 11th November at 7.30pm for an evening of traditional kirtan.

Kirtan is timeless, joyful and easy, add your voice to our 11-11-11 evening of chanting for peace.

Contribution £5

Facilitated by Ananga who has been practising bhakti yoga and kirtan for 25 years.

New weekly Ashtanga Vinyasa class - Q & A

Ashtanga Yoga Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic form of yoga linking body movements with the breath and although dynamic you can work totally at your own pace. It's a traditional Ashtanga self practice class. Each student is guided on a one-to-one basis within a class setting. You'll be amongst other students and will all progress at different levels. The benefits of this method is that you get one to one attention from your teacher, be adjusted according to your individual needs and have a practice you can use at home. Being in a class setting with other students allows for a lovely group energy which helps to lift your own practice. Wednesday 20:00 to 21:30 Ashtanga Vinyasa with Deena. Contribution £8
